The Equipment
The alarm unit simply plugs into your primary telephone socket and the alarm pendant can be worn around your neck or on your wrist.
If you need assistance you can either press the button on the unit or on your pendant to trigger the alarm and talk to our operators 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We follow the TSA operating standards for the Telecare Industry.
Who is eligible?
Anyone is eligible as long as they are capable of using the equipment and able to pay the charges for the service. Please call us on 0800 910 1390 for advice.
The Monitoring Service
Your system will be monitored by our fully trained staff 24 hours a day 365 days a year. In the event you activate the alarm we will try to establish the nature of the emergency and call one of your pre-arranged contacts to come out to you.
The Response Service
In some areas of the UK we can provide a Mobile Responder Service.
All our responders are fully trained to assist you in the event of an emergency. Each responder carries with them a wide range of equipment to help and and assist you in the safest way possible.
We will send one of our responders out to any emergency where we assess if a client is at risk from:
- Medical emergencies
- Falls
- Distress
We will handle all other calls using next of kin or appropriate services.
We will always use our best endeavours to try and resolve any situation to be able to achieve the best possible outcome.
