Medequip united with Alzheimer’s Society to support people living with dementia. Through consultation with our employees Medequip chose Alzheimer’s Society as our nominated charity and have formed a partnership in order to raise awareness and funds.

Medequip and Alzheimer’s Society Partnership Objectives:

• Inspire Medequip colleagues and customers to raise £25,000 a year for Alzheimer’s Society to provide care for today and a cure for tomorrow.
• Commit to increasing the awareness and understanding of dementia amongst our workforce.
• To help create dementia friendly environments in the communities Medequip works in, by raising awareness of dementia and providing information about the services Alzheimer’s Society provides to everyone affected by dementia.

By uniting with Alzheimer’s Society against dementia, Medequip is committed to supporting people affected by dementia to live well in their communities for longer.

To date we have raised in excess of £51,000 which is a phenomenal amount of money and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone for supporting such a worthy cause. Here’s to many more exciting events in the future.

Our Fundraising Efforts

• We have provided 19 dementia friends sessions for our staff members
• We have 327 dementia friends in the business

We are the only UK charity investing in research into dementia care, cause, cure and prevention. We’ve committed to spending £150 million on cutting-edge research over the next decade.

Every project we fund directly addresses the needs and concerns of people affected by dementia.
