Celebrating the incredible dedication and hard work of our people and recognising their individual and team achievements has always been an important for Medequip. Our Big Thank You Day was first introduced over a decade ago, and this year resulted in a total of 1,101 nominations across the business, acknowledging those who go the extra mile, make a difference and embody Medequip values every day of the year.
We were also happy to share the event with our sister companies Ross Care and Consolor, generating a further 204 nominations given out under their own corporate banners.
Big Thank You Day is particularly important at Medequip because the winners are nominated voluntarily by their peers for the work they do. It’s an important way for people within our business to recognise their colleagues’ key skills and abilities.
Nominations can be made by anyone employed by Medequip, and the final decisions are made by a panel of judges who rate each nomination on its own merit. All nominations received are shared with those who have been nominated so everyone is aware of the tributes and accolades given by their peers.
