As a responsible fleet operator, Medequip is pleased to co-sponsor an upcoming interactive event organised by the East Midlands Region of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
Focused around the theme ‘Adopting a true end to end approach to safety in transport operations’, the event takes place on Thursday 2nd October at the Hazard Alley Safety Centre in Milton Keynes.
Safety management in transport operations is reliant on adopting practices and procedures together with commitment to continuous improvement, seeking to protect those working in the industry, the wider public and the reputation of the fleet operator.
Effective risk analysis and, providing sufficient resources and support as well as continuous training all play a vital role in achieving the best outcomes.
Richard Horton, Head of Fleet for Medequip, will address the audience to cover Managing Risk in Fleet Operation, demonstrating how this relates to a real operational environment and how to manage compliance to ensure a culture of safety and continuous learning.
