Medequip is proud to be a Business Supporter Sponsor of the Giant Howarth Sleepout, taking place on Friday 10th October 2025 at the Huddersfield Giants’ home ground. The event, organised by Huddersfield Giants Community Trust and The Howarth Foundation, raises vital funds and awareness to support people experiencing homelessness and poverty across Kirklees.
Medequip & Kirklees Council Joining Forces
This year, eight members of staff from Medequip and Kirklees Council will be volunteering their time on the evening to support the event. Our team will be helping with:
- Registering participants as they arrive
- Providing directions and guidance throughout the evening
- Serving drinks and supporting event logistics
- Supplying all of the cardboard used by participants sleeping out
By sponsoring and actively supporting the event, Medequip and Kirklees Council are reinforcing their shared commitment to community engagement and making a difference in the lives of those most in need.

The Giant Howarth Sleepout is more than just a fundraiser—it’s about raising awareness of the challenges faced by people without a safe place to call home. Funds raised on the night will help provide housing, employment opportunities, and community support for vulnerable people across Kirklees.
