Medequip is pleased to announce that the company has been re-awarded the Hounslow Council community equipment loan service contract running until 2028, with an option to extend for a further year to 2029.
This continuity of service enables Medequip and Hounslow Council to build upon an established foundation to further enhance services to residents in the London Borough of Hounslow.
Medequip is proud to have provided vital community equipment services to Hounslow Council for over a decade. This latest award comes via Procurement Services, a market-leading provider of procurement solutions and contract management and the Kent Framework, a structured procurement agreement designed to streamline public sector purchasing.
Commenting for Hounslow Council, Joint Commissioner Bilal Dunoo outlined the rationale behind re-awarding the contract to Medequip. “Efficient community equipment provision is vital for maintaining patient flow across the health and social care system. Consistency, reliability and sustainability, alongside a continual drive for improvement, are key to this contract. Medequip continues to be a dependable provider, and I am grateful to our Partnership Manager and General Manager for their support in delivering a seamless service that benefits both our vulnerable residents and the wider health and social care system.”
